One of Crossview’s core businesses is refurbishing and replacing fixed plant and equipment.
This work usually involves the removal, modification and refitting of a wide range of equipment including ships fenders, bollards, mooring hooks, navigation beacons, buildings, jetties and structures. Often the work is complex, being the result of old structures that have been built around or added to and have ultimately reached an age where major upgrades are required.
With the use of well planned and engineered methodologies, Crossview is able to deliver projects safely and economically to the client.
Examples of this include:
• Removal, refurbishment and relocation of two 26 metre high navigation beacons at Esperance Port.
• Removal, refurbishment and replacement of platforms and ladders off the apex of the berth three ship loader at Esperance Port, 36 metres above the ocean.
• Removal , refurbishment and replacement of emergency stairs, ladders and platforms from Shed Five, Esperance Port.
• Replacement of fire main under berth one, Esperance Port
• Removal of a twenty one metre long bridge from Esperance Tanker Jetty
• Fitting of six, eight ton ships fenders berth one Esperance Port
• Recovery of twenty five tons of ships anchor chain
• Removal, refurbishment and relocation of structures at CSBP Esperance
• Erection of approximately one hundred tonnes of structural steel (Crossview’s new workshop)
