
Crosssview began its operations as Southern Blasting in 1992 and since then has been recognised locally as a leader in the application of industrial coatings. The company has the only approved blast room in Esperance and also offers comprehensive mobile, site based services. As well as extensive conventional dry blasting rigs, Crosssview has recently added a Graco vapour blasting machine allowing dust free blasting in environmentally sensitive areas. Paint application is with two Graco airless sprayers as well as conventional air spray equipment.
Some of the projects undertaken since 1992 include
• Blast and paint all piles and sheet pile on berths one and two at Esperance port – 7500sqm
• Blast and paint Bandy Creek Boat Harbour piling – 1000sqm
• Refurbish conveyor 35 on berth three, Esperance Port. – 72 metre long conveyor, all suspended over the ocean
• Blast and paint the apex of the iron ore ship loader, Esperance Port. – 36 metres above sea level
• Extensive and ongoing maintenance painting on ship loaders, conveyors, fenders, platforms, navigation beacons and structural steel.
Please note Crossview does not offer sand blasting and painting services to the general public. This service is only available where it forms part of a larger job and involves the overall refurbishment of plant.
