In house steel fabrication and repair is offered at our new 1400 square metre workshop on Simpson Street, Esperance. All of the buildings structural steel including a 28 metre, ten ton overhead crane beam was fabricated by our staff in the old work shop.
The overhead crane opens opportunity for handling large, heavy sections for construction and repair and was instrumental during the building of our crane barge. The 30 tonne sectional vessel was built entirely in house, including fabrication, sand blasting and painting, fitting and commissioning of the crane and outboard motors.
Much of the companies work focuses on refurbishing equipment and often this involves welding and general modification and repair. Examples of this include:
• Welding of six hundred gussets for CBH in the roof of grain cells
