Crossview own and operate the only commercial barge service in Esperance. We have two 12 metre road transportable, self powered barges, both in 2C survey, assisted by a 6.5 metre aluminium work boat, also in 2C. One barge is fitted with a 288 Hiab, the other has a piling mast set up for rotary piling. Both vessels can accommodate our 14 ton excavator, fitted with hydraulic grabs, buckets or rock breaker, providing a very versatile set up for demolition and waste recovery.
Powered by twin outboards and equipped with spuds, they are highly maneuverable and a valuable asset to any marine activity in the region. They can be disassembled and transported anywhere in the state with ease.
Project: Tanker Jetty Construction

Category: Barge and Marine Services
Client: Maritime Constructions
Duration: Twelve months
Project Description: Crossview Enterprises were engaged by the principal contractor Maritime Constructions, to provide a range of services to support the construction of the new, 400-metre-long Tanker jetty. Services included barge work, crane operation, welding, sand blasting and painting, carpentry, and labour hire.
Crossview provides clients with fit-for-purpose and often custom equipment to facilitate works as required. Our equipment fleet includes two custom designed barges, ideal for use in the maritime industry.
Both barges were designed by MMD Perth in collaboration with Crossview, and custom built in-house in the Crossview workshop.

Catamaran style, they are fully road transportable on a standard trailer. Both have a 30-ton deck cargo capacity and are self-propelled with 2 x Mercury 150 hp engines. They are highly maneuverable, making them the perfect piece of equipment to assist with Maritime works. One barge is equipped with a Hiab 288 crane, with a 21m boom. The other barge is fitted with a piling mast. Both barges were integral to the success of the Tanker Jetty build, providing transport, crane support and working platforms as required.
Possibly the only two barges of their kind in the South coast, Crossview Enterprises were able to provide the ability to transport equipment and access areas that may otherwise have caused major financial and logistical considerations.
